[Listen] Black Moth Super Rainbow - "Old Yes"
As we announced earlier last month, Psychedelic rockers Black Moth Super Rainbow are set to reissue their classic 2007 album, Dandelion Gum, which will feature 14 bonus track titled "Extra Flavor" which are tracks from Dandelion Gum-Era Sessions. Some of the bonus tracks were previously released on BMSR collaboration with The Octopus Project titled The House Of Apples & Eyeballs, others were released by BMSR on an EP titled Bonus Drippers which was a free download put out around the time their EP Drippers was released and 4 tracks are exclusive to this bonus album's release.
One of the 4 tracks isn't completely exclusive however. The track "Old Yes" was released on an extreme limited edition album titled All My Gooey Brothers & Sisters in which only 50 copies were released. The album was set for sale at midnight on the BMSR website without announcement, therefore, only a handful of lucky lurkers got a copy of the album. Tobacco stated on his facebook that the album was "a record that's an experiment in seeing if music sold on the internet can be kept off the internet" which rumors circulated that the album's were watermarked and/or that Tobacco himself attached a letter to each copy informing people not to share the record online.
However, with the bonus release coming up we get our first taste of that fabled record which may or may not ever come out with the song "Old Yes". Check it out in the player below and make sure you pick up the re-issue and bonus EP when it drops next Tuesday via Graveface Records.
