[Listen] Mayer Hawthorne Signs With Universal and Releases New Single "A Long Time"

It seems like it was just last week that Soulful crooner Mayer Hawthorne released his cover EP Impressions. Oh wait....that was last week....damn. Guess he wanted to be back on everyone's mind when he announced that he has officially signed to Universal Republic Records, and is currently in the works to release his sophomore album How Do You Do this Fall. Alongside with the announcement, Hawthorne also released the first single from the new album titled "A Long Time", which you can check out below and then purchase on iTunes. 

This tune was a killer when I debuted it in the Turntable.fm room and continues where Hawthorne's debut album A Strange Arrangement left off. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think.
