[Listen/Watch] Kid Cudi drops first 2 Be Continuum track, Shia LeBeouf-directed video

Last Fall, Kid Cudi announced that his third LP was going to delve into the world of rock, straying away from the hip hop genre that he built his career on. He also announced that his band would be called Wizard, which was later changed to 2 Be Continuum, and would be working alongside Dot da Genius, who produced "Day 'N' Nite" back in 2009. Well, today, we get our first taste about what a Kid Cudi rock song sounds like with the track "Perfect Is The Word." Honestly, it's not great, and you can tell that Cudder has been playing the guitar for less than a year. At least we can look forward to the release of Cudi's A Man Named Scott mixtape later this summer.

As for something that reminds us of the Cudder of old, the rapper released the video for the track "Marijuana" off of his sophomore LP Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. The video, which was directed by actor Shia LeBeouf, is just a reminder of the always ridiculous stoner antics of Mr. Mescudi, and in this case, it involves his journey to the weed capital of the world, Amsterdam.
