[News] Sigur Rós Announce 'Valtari Hour' Worldwide Listening Party

In anticipation of their sixth studio album Valtari, Icelandic outfit Sigur Rós have invited their fans to participate in what they have dubbed Valtari Hour. On May 17th at 7:00pm (simultaneously at every time zone in the world), fans can listen to an exclusive one hour stream of the album prior to its May 29th release. The album will be available to stream on the band's official website, local radio stations as well as local record stores. In North America, NPR will be offer the online stream of the album, with its radio affiliates, including KEXP, WFUC, KCMP, and several more, broadcasting the album for your listening pleasure. As well, for those who choose to attend the listening party at the participating records stores, a preorder of the album will land you a limited-edition Valtari print, with one lucky winner in each store receiving Valtari vinyl test pressing, a copy of the very-sold-out RSD exclusive Hvarf/Heim LP on clear vinyl, and a custom, limited print.
