Supergroup alert! SPIN has revealed the newest project from Stef Alexander aka Doomtree/Rhymesayers Rapper P.O.S. and Anti-Flag's Chris Head, along with members of Alexisonfire and the AKAs called Wharf Rats. The band which was conceived during Warped Tour and recorded in the festival's traveling recording studio.

P.O.S. tells SPIN,"All of us had expressed interest in working together in some way or another. Warped Tour has lots of down time and the John Lennon Bus, this super, way-too-nice mobile recording studio. It was really fun -- we all like making things."

Two tracks were recorded from those sessions "Oh No!" and the rocking track "Capital Gains" which you can download below. Both will released on a limited edition 7-inch single on May 31 via No Sleep Records. Most fans of P.O.S. know that this isn't his first outting into the punk band genre. Stef is also Bassist/frontman for the MPLS Punk band Building Better Bombs who released their debut album Freak Out Squares on INIT Records. We highly suggest you check out that album and pick yourself up a copy if it suits you right.

Alexisonfire's new EP Dog's Blood is set for release on the 2nd of November and with only a weekend separating us from some new material they have posted up a live version of the title track for our listening pleasure. As mentioned before the EP is set to have three vocal tracks and one instrumental number so I'm kind of excited to hear it in full! After announcing recently that they were to release an EP, Dog's Blood, we have Alexisonfire's new track. The EP is set to have three vocal tracks and one instrumental number.and features three vocal tracks and one instrumental. You can hear the title track below. It's a goodie. The EP was co-produced by Alexisonfire and Jon Drew (F*cked Up, Tokyo Police Club, Quest For Fire, Arkells) and is set for release on October 31st in the UK and November 2nd. They are about to go on a little Euro tour set for the UK in November and return to Canada in December.
