[News] Atlas Sound Announces 2012 Tour Dates

Following a U.S. East Coast tour back in December, Deerhunter frontman Bradford Cox, also known for his solo project Atlas Sound, has announced six tour dates throughout North America to further support last year's Parallax. Starting in Los Angeles on February 24th, the short tour includes a coffee shop show in Binghamton, New York, as well as performances in San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Minneapolis and Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

[News] Atlas Sound Announces East Coast Tour Dates

Atlas Sound, the solo project of Deerhunter frontman Bradford Cox, will be heading to the East Coast of the U.S. in support of his third studio album Parallax. The tour is set to begin on December 14th in Durham, NC, followed by five more shows in Richmond, VA, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, New York, and Washington, D.C. [Listen] Atlas Sound - 'Parallax' (Full Album Stream)

In one week, Atlas Sound, the solo project of Deerhunter vocalist Bradford Cox, will be releasing his third studio album Parallax. Courtesy of the New York Times, you can listen to the album in its entirety before it hits stores on November 8th via 4AD. As well, Cox talked to the news outlet about several of the songs on the album, even revealing that Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT played piano and provided backing vocals for the track "Mona Lisa."
