[Watch] Arctic Monkeys' Full Glastonbury 2013 Set

It's Saturday which can mean only one thing, well, going with the past two weeks trend... Another Arctic Monkeys post. Last night the Sheffield band performed their second ever headline show at the world famous Glastonbury Festival and boy did they deliver. Revisiting the Pyramid stage, following on from their 2007 set, they played a hit laden set featuring cuts from their back catalogue along with opening the set with their new single "Do I Wanna Know?", rocking the 180,000 strong festival to its core. They were even joined by Miles Kane for set closer "505" and you can re-live the entire show below. The band have also recently enrolled the help of Dead Sons' lead singer Tom Rowley, or as Alex refers to him; "the white ranger" on keys for the current tour.

The band's new album, AM, will be out on September 9th via Domino and to support that they've just announced a UK arena tour set for October, dates of which can be found over here.

[Watch] Miles Kane - "First of My Kind" (Official Video)

A welcome return has come from Miles Kane today in the shape of a brand new track. It's titled "First of My Kind" and is set to feature on his brand new EP which is set to drop on Record Store Day, April 21st. The track was produced by Skream, which took my by surprise, he actually produced the entire EP. You can't tell too much that Skream is behind the desk and Miles has very much kept his guitar swagger about him.

Miles has just announced that he is indeed working with Paul Weller too on some material for his new alum. Should be interesting.

[Watch] Miles Kane - "Inhaler" Live on Later with Jools Holland

My favourite Liverpudlian musician of late also stepped into the Jools Holland studio to put in a to be expected stellar performance of his incredibly catchy single. I'm talking about Miles Kane and his track "Inhaler" which featured on his album Colour Of The Trap. Check out the performance at the top and get your dance on. Maybe not so vigorously if you're asthmatic though eh?!

[Listen] Miles Kane - "Come Closer" x "Heaven" (Emeli Sandé Cover) in Radio One's Live Lounge

Another week and another awesome BBC Radio One Live Lounge session for you guys to wrap your ears around. This weeks guest was friend to the Arctic Monkeys and all round nice Liverpudlian, Miles Kane. He stepped into the Live Lounge to put in a performance of his own track, "Come Closer" taken from his great album, Colour of the Trap . After that as you may know, artists are asked to do a cover and we've had some curve balls in the past and this one from Miles was a little unexpected too. He chose to cover Emeli Sandé's track, "Heaven". Listen to a brief interview followed by his own track and then the soulful cover too.

He helped the Sheffield lads put in a performance of "505" to close their set at T. The track is from their 2007 album Favourite Worst Nightmare. Check it out up at the top for a nice kick start to your Monday morning with a live music infusion.

[Listen] Arctic Monkeys - "Colour Of The Trap" (Miles Kane Cover)

Arctic Monkeys recently released their fourth studio album Suck It and See and have been doing the rounds in turn promoting the hell out of it. In turn they recently visited Oui FM and put down a few acoustic tracks, one of which is a delightful acoustic rendition, of Alex's good friend, Miles Kane track "Colour Of The Trap". The original version appears on Miles' recent solo album of the same name. Give it a listen below via the good people at We All Want Someone.
