The Stills announce their break-up

Canadian indie-rock band The Stills announced their break-up today via their official website. The break-up sees the band ending their decade-long journey which included three studio albums, two Juno Awards for Best New Group and Best Alternative Album in 2009, as well as touring with bands such as Kings of Leon. The band, which was formed in 2001 by vocalist Tim Fletcher, guitarist Greg Paquet, bassist Oliver Corbeil, and drummer Dave Hamelin, wrote a break-up letter to fans, which you can read after the jump.
