[Watch] The National - "Terrible Love" (Alternate Version)

Check out this awesome version of "Terrible Love" from The National. It was shot over the summer leg of the band’s tour by Tom Berninger. It is one of those cool videos that makes you were in a band living life on the road. Full of fun times back stage, intimate live shows as well as some heavy security. The song is set for release on November 22nd and comes with a B-Side of "You Were A Kindness" which we offered up for download back in August. Both songs find a way to embed themselves in your subconsciousness. Whilst posting this I have the lyrics to "You Were A Kindess" ringing around my head like the never ending echo of a church hall. The single coincides with the release of the expanded edition of their critically acclaimed album High Violet via 4AD. The tracklisting for the Expanded Edition can be found after the jump.
