[Listen] R.E.M. - "Oh My Heart" x "It Happened Today"

Take a listen to another few new cuts from R.E.M. and their new album Collapse Into Now’s which is set for release on March 8th (7th in the UK) via Warner Bros. In a statement to NPR Michael Stripe said about "Oh My Heart": "It's a very quiet and very meditative song dedicated to New Orleans-- about New Orleans. Jacknife [Lee] is great as a producer, because he saw that we were struggling with what is a very quiet song. We were standing really far away from each other in the room, and it was hard not only to actually physically hear each other, but it felt dispersed. He brought us into the middle, and instantly, of course, the song worked."

As well as this you can also watch a lyric video for track "It Happened Today" that the band recently posted up onto Youtube. Enjoy them both and see if you're going to get excited for one of 2011's most anticipated albums.
