[Watch] Red Hot Chili Peppers - "The Adventures of Raindance Maggie" x "Monarchy of Roses" Live on Jools Holland

Last night whilst enjoying the opening performance of Later... with Jools Holland, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed. Red Hot Chili Peppers were the band in question and as we all know they're one of the biggest bands on the circuit today and regularly sell out stadiums the world over. In the studio, they opened up with "The Adventures of Raindance Maggie". Chad and Flea are one hell of a tight rhythm section and Anthony is a jumping jack of energy when he wants to be. It was Josh who let the opening performance down with sloppy guitar and a few hiccups along the way. Fans will no doubt love it but when you take a step back it just seems like he's a little off.

To close the show the band performed "Monarchy of Roses" which saw Flea jumping around the stage and thrusting his bass around like a trooper. Both performances seems a little lackluster, but maybe it's 'cos it was late and I'd had a long day. Make up your own mind with "Maggie" at the top and "Monarchy of Roses" after the jump.
