[Listen] Björk - "Biophilia / Solar System"

At the beginning of January Björk was being a great human being by organising and taking part in a karaoke rally to recruit signatures for a petition against Magma Energy’s proposed takeover of her native country’s energy production. FOr that I tip my hat. At the same time as this was going on a track appeared online which featured on an iPad app about the planets and stars. The app, called Solar System features “3D realizations” of our solar system and was accompanied by a three-minute instrumental piece from Björk which has been "adapted by Björk from her forthcoming Biophilia project”. Back then all we had was a pretty low quality version of the track and a sketchy app demo. Well, int's been a month now so hit play below to check out the track in all its orchestral beauty.
