This is a very welcome addition to the ranks of the BBC roster. As Pitchfork points out, Diplo will host "Diplo & Friends" a weekly series that airs on Saturday night from 1-3am here in the UK (GMT) on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. The first show is this weekend on April 7th! As a little help, that time is 8-10pm EST and 5-7pm PST. This weekend he'll be joined by Lunice and as they put it the "Mad Decent mastermind Paul Devro!". Later n the month he'll be joined by Dillon Francis, Flosstradamous, Brodinski and more.
Mad Decent posted a blog regarding the announcement and and said the program will feature exclusive remixes along with visits from some big name friends. We'll be keeping a close eye on this show on the weekends starting this Saturday. What else have we got to do? It is a Bank Holiday weekend after all!
