[News] Bradford Cox and Cole Alexander Revive Ghetto Cross Project

Four years ago, Bradford Cox (Atlas Sound, Deerhunter) and Cole Alexander (Black Lips) came together under the moniker Ghetto Cross, releasing a song titled "Dog Years". Since then, nothing else came of the collaboration, but, as Pitchfork reports, the pair are once again teaming up and reviving the Ghetto Cross project. To commemorate the reunion of the project, they've released a song titled "Still", which Cox explains "is about the relationship that develops between two young boys, one of whom is autistic and cannot talk, and the other who is an outcast and beaten by his emotionally manipulative father."

Cox and Alexander will release a full album later this fall, comprised of songs recorded by the two around the time Deerhunter released their 2009 album Rainwater Cassette Exchange.
