[News] Arcade Fire confirmed to play London Hyde Park Gig x New Album in March?
Last week whispers began to circulate as to a rumour of Arcade Fire coming to the UK and performing their largest headline show in the country yet. It has now been confirmed and following in the footsteps of Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon the band are set to play at London's Hyde Park this coming June on Thursday the 30th.
The support acts have also been announced to be Mumford & Sons, Beirut and The Vaccines according to Gigwise.
As we now the band are to perform on the Grammys fairly soon but add to that the excitement of seeing the band on UK television, as they have also been announced to perform on this years Brit awards. Along with them their support act Mumford & Sons will grace the stage.
Arcade Fire's most recent album The Suburbs got the number two spot on our countdown of the best albums of 2010. Another rumour is also circulating as to the likelihood of another LP within the coming months from the band. The rumour started due to this image surfacing online. Let the mayhem ensue.
