[Watch] R.E.M. - "Überlin" (Official Video)

We've not been short of previews and video teasers from R.E.M. in the lead up to the release of their fifteenth studio album, Collapse Into Now, and today we get the full visuals for the track "Überlin". It features Aaron Johnson the guy who was in the Lennon biopic, Nowhere Boy and Kick Ass too. Here we see him dancing his backside off to the sounds of R.E.M. on location in London. He jumps, hops, skips, jumps some more pretty much that repeatedly in and around Brick Lane. It's fun to watch and makes you want to get up and join in! (Just me?). It was Directed by Sam Taylor-Wood and has been called  a “work of beauty" by Michael Stipe. She coincidentally also directed the film Johnson starred in, Nowhere Boy, and the two are now together and happiley engaged!

There's also a second video you can watch a video to accompany "It Happened Today" over here which is a little more chilled out but none the less entertaining to watch on a Friday afternoon. On top of this we kno wthere is at least another two videos to accompany R.E.M.'s new album as NME reports Oscar host James Franco has overseen the making of visuals for  “That Someone Is You” and “Blue”.
